Looking for a fair poker room?
Right now Full Tilt Poker is doing all that it takes so that it can promise its players that they will enjoy a fair game of poker … and if you don’t it looks like you’ll even get your money back. The security team at Full Tilt Poker recently found some players were violating their terms of play and even actually refunded the players on the losing end of these breaches. Even though the poker room hasn’t gone as far as sharing how the rules were broken (perhaps it was collusion?), as an online poker player myself, I find it somewhat comforting to see a poker room taking action and doing so publicly. I found one article that claims that where cheating was proved, the entire amount lost by the victims was refunded to them. Of course it could also be argued (as one player in deed has) that since you don’t know who the violating player was or even how he/she infringed the terms of play, then you cannot be confident that the full amount has in fact been refunded. Unfortunately there will always be people trying to beat the system so, as always, be vigilant when playing for any suspicious activity and report it.
